Highlighting its impressively detailed antlers, this life size caribou sculpture is determined to find a mate and stands 90” high. Caribous are actually reindeers which are classified as such when they live in the wild but are called reindeers when they become domesticated by man.
Cast in bronze, our artisan sculpts a mighty reindeer with powerful muscles and hind legs as well as one showing the characteristic antlers which are prominently shown, which it will use for fighting another male caribou during the mating season. While the male reindeer may have elaborately detailed antlers, female reindeers are also known to grow some antlers as well.
