Herons play an importance in many cultures. In Egypt, the heron is thought to be a creator of light and is also a messenger of God. It has also an importance in Christianity as these birds are thought to be able to shed tears because of Christ's suffering. The Native American also view the herons favorably and the Iroquois for instance believe that a hunt will be successful if they see a heron before their expedition.
Our heron fountain sculpture comes beautifully detailed to add character to a garden pond or pool. It shows two herons standing side by side to the other and designed to send a stream of water into the pool or pond. It also comes beautifully hand painted for a rich color patina finish. A lot of work has been given to hand painting the heron sculpture and it comes with a fire-applied finish. Cast through the lost wax process of casting quality bronze sculptures.
