Also known as the Qilin, the Kirin is an auspicious animal with dragon like features and is considered to be powerful and fearsome. It is often used in Feng Shui to disperse negative energy around the house and is a divine force that is said to punish the wicked. Many keep a statue of the Qilin as a way of warding off evil and for ushering good luck and fortune to the home or business.
