Remington based this Bronco Buster sculpture on his 1892 drawing, Pitching Broncho, which was published in Harper's Weekly. Beautifully detailed, the Bronco Buster sculpture is considered a metaphor for the American West, with the horse representing the untamed land and the cowboy representing white settler-colonialists subduing nature.
Standing at a height of some 31”, our large cowboy statue comes beautifully detailed with crisp and vivid details, and is a profoundly beautiful sculpture to add to the office or den. It is also suitable for displaying in the garden. This cowboy statue comes in an attractive patina finish and is cast in quality bronze using the ancient lost wax process.
