Collection: Rodin Sculptures
Auguste Rodin grew up in the working class district of Paris known as the Mouffetard and served a long and difficult apprenticeship. He entered a drawing school at age 13 and learned drawing and modeling. He is widely known for his human form sculptures which have since been displayed in major European museums. Our selection of Rodin sculptures shows Rodin's attempt to capture the human form by making quick sketches without taking his eye away from the human model. It includes such works as The Thinker and The Age of Bronze. Please email us at tion_art@yahoo.com if you need more information about our Rodin sculptures and collection.
