Thought to be the first sculpture carved by the famous sculptor Antonio Canova, The Three Graces represents the daughters of Zeus, seen from left to right as Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia. Thalia was said to represent youth and beauty, Euphrosyne would represent mirth while Aglaea represented elegance. Known popularly as “The Graces”, Zeus daughters were believed to host parties and gatherings.
