The Roman Goddess Fortuna is the daughter of the God Jupiter and was a popular goddess worshipped in ancient times who remained popular through the Middle Ages and Renaissance. This Goddess is known to hold a cornucopia of coins and is often seen blindfolded to symbolize her impartiality and the uncertainty of fortune.
