Herons are tropical birds which are celebrated for their grace and beauty. There are many species of herons and much is written about the Great Blue Heron and the Great White Heron also known as an egret. These wading birds are known to stay close to a water source and are often seen in a flock where they can move and live with the rest of their family members.
Our large sculpture of two herons comes beautifully created for the garden pond or pool. They capture a slice of the typical family life of the herons which are oftentimes seen amidst the cattails or on tree branches. This particular heron pond spitter is seen on tree branches.
