Herons are long legged birds known to be graceful and are in the warmer parts of the United States. These birds are avid hunters and are known to be seen amongst the cattails or branches. Herons can also be seen where there is constant water supply. The Native Americans revere the herons and their literature treats the herons as bringing wisdom and patience. The Iroquois tribe see the herons as avid hunters and believe that the sight of an heron before the hunt was an indication of good fortune to come.
Our heron fountain statue comes beautifully detailed and captures the natural disposition of the herons and their penchant to climb trees. This fountain sculpture also highlights two herons making their way up a tree branch. They come hand finished to reflect character and are shown with a natural bronze patina finish. Is hand detailed and hand cast through the lost wax process of creating quality bronze sculptures.
