John appears to be quite the reader and is sitting down with a book in his hand. He has also attracted the attention of a little squirrel which seems curiously perched wondering what the fuss is all about in the book which John holds.
This is a fine sculpture to add to the garden. He comes beautifully detailed and can be used to show the importance of reading if placed in a library.
