David is the young Hebrew shepherd who takes up the challenge to defeat the threatening Goliath from the Philistines and defeats him. After defeating Goliath, David becomes a close friend of King Saul and his son, Jonathan. When King Saul and his son are killed in battle, David is anointed as King. He conquers Jerusalem and takes the ark of the Covenant into the city, thereby establishing the kingdom founded by Saul.
Our sculpture of King David stands tall at about 70"H and comes with David placing his leg on the head of Goliath. The sculpture will add a unique statement to a home and celebrates King David as king of Israel and Judah.
